Wednesday, June 28, 2023 4:00 PM Common Council Chambers
1. Call to Order
Present: 8- Nickels, Brey, Koski, Alfred, Reckelberg, Nycz, Czekala and Swokowski
2. Quote Opening for 2023 Ambulance Request, QE-23-02
City Clerk reported having received four (4) quotes. Same were opened
and accepted. Quotes where received from:
Life Line Emergency Vehicles
American Response Vehicles
Osage Industries, Inc
Foster Coach Sales, Inc
A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Czekala, to refer the quotes to the
Director of Public Infrastructure for tabulation and recommendation. The motion
carried by the following vote:
Aye: 8- Nickels, Brey, Koski, Alfred, Reckelberg, Nycz, Czekala and Swokowski
3. Opening of Sourcewell Quote for Playground Equipment for Rheaume & Riverview
Drive Parks
City Clerk reported having received one (1) quote. Same was opened and
is as follows:
Lee Recreation, LLC, $102,745.20
A motion was made byBrey, seconded by Reckelberg, to refer the quote to the
Director of Public Infrastructure for tabulation and recommendation. The motion
carried by the following vote:
Aye: 8- Nickels, Brey, Koski, Alfred, Reckelberg, Nycz, Czekala and Swokowski
4. Change Orders
City Clerk submitted the following change order for approval:
Mulch Express of WI, CO #1 for Wood Chips for Playgrounds and

Parks, AGMT-23-05, +$2,430.00
A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Reckelberg, that this change order be
approved.. The motion carried by the following vote:

5. Pay Estimates, Various Engineering/Public Works Projects
None
6. Contractor's Payroll Affidavits
None
7. Adjournment
A motion was made by Steven Czekala, seconded by Eric Nycz, that be
adjourned. The motion carried by the following vote:

that a meeting of the above-referenced will be held at the date, time and location
listed above.
Notice is hereby given that a majority of the Common Council of the City of
Manitowoc, or a standing committee of that body, may be present at this meeting to
gather information about the subject matter over which they have decision making
responsibility.
