Monday, January 20, 2025 4:00 PM Common Council Chambers
1. Call to Order
Present: 6- Nickels, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Nycz and Beeman
Absent: 2- Norell and Reckelberg
2. Bids for Removal of PCB Impacted Soil at the Former Mirror Site, Project
WO-25-10
City Clerk reported having received four (4) e-bids. Same were opened
and accepted online through Quest, and are as follows:
Horizon Construction and Exploration LLC, Bid Bond, $170,737.00
Vinton Construction Company, Bid Bond, $212,865.05
RLP Diversified Inc, Bid Bond, $248,255.00
River View Construction, Inc., Bid Bond, $355,776.50
A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Reed, to refer the bids to the
Department of Infrastructure for tabulation and recommendation. The motion
carried by the following vote:
Aye: 6- Nickels, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Nycz and Beeman
3. Quotes for Compressed Air System, QE-25-2
This Quote is being moved forward to the January 29, 2025 Board of
Public Works meeting.
4. Change Orders
None
5. Pay Estimates, Various Engineering/Public Works Projects
City Clerk submitted the following City Engineer's estimates for approval
and payment:

A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Reed, to approve the payments. The
motion carried by the following vote:

7. Adjournment
A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Reed, that this meeting be adjourned
at 4:03 p.m. The motion carried by the following vote:

given to the public, to the Herald-Times-Reporter, the official newspaper of
Manitowoc, and to those news media who have filed a written request for this
notice that a meeting of the above-referenced will be held at the date, time and
location listed above.
Notice is hereby given that a majority of the Common Council of the City of
Manitowoc, or a standing committee of that body, may be present at this meeting
to gather information about the subject matter over which they have decision
making responsibility.
This meeting is being conducted both in Council Chambers and via Zoom.
