Roll Call Present: 8- McMeans, Howe, Sitkiewitz, Nickels, Kummer, Czekala, Lotz and Williams Absent: 3- Novak, Brey and Jacobs 3. Discussion 19-0849 Committee of the Whole discussion on Industrial Park land and long-term expansion Attachments: Hecker Road APPRAISAL 1-10-19 Ag Lease Exp 033120 Charmwood Farms Hecker Viebahn 040716 Build Your Business Here Sign Viebahn Hecker Final Committee discussed current and future needs for land in the Industrial Park. Committee discussed two potential areas for expansion, including one currently owned by Manitowoc County. Broad instruction to City staff to talk with the County on options for this property prior to the September County Board meeting. Railroad Crossings in the City b. State highway 151/Washington Street (specifically between South 16th and 26th Streets) Attachments: Brey Request NACTO MUTCD Committee discussed city streets and intersections needing attention. Additionally, the Committee requested that city staff look into what, if anything, can be done to encourage the railroad companies to maintain railroad tracks in the city. Committee would like to see staff come up with a solution to control the intersection of Crawford Blvd. and Harbor Town Ln. Other streets mentioned during discussion as needing attention include: Washington St./Hwy 151, Broadway St. near Schuette Park, East and West Crescent Dr., S. 30th St., Reed Ave., Custer St. from S. 25th to S. 39th, intersection of Maritime Dr. and Buffalo St., S. 13th St. from Franklin to Washington Sts., pedestrian blinking lights at Waldo/Maritime roundabout, and general mention of focus on downtown. 4.
