Absent: 2- Howe and Kummer
3. Public Comment
Council President Sitkiewitz declared the meeting open for public input. In
accordance with policy, the public input portion of the meeting is not made
a part of the official record.
4. Discussion and Action Items
19-0946 Review of District 10 candidate materials and presentations by candidates.

Candidates provided a brief presentation on themselves. Committee then
asked questions of the candidates.
19-0947 CN Peninsula update
Associate Planner Nick Mueller and Mayor Justin Nickels provided an
overview of Phase 1 for the CN Peninsula property.
Moved by Brey, seconded by Novak, to enter into contract with Stantec and
Ehlers at a cost not to exceed $227,315 to be budgeted from the balance in
downtown delegated funds from 2019 capitol budget to begin Phase 1. The
motion carried by the following vote:

Moved by Brey, seconded by McMeans, that this meeting be adjourned at 6:20
p.m. The motion carried by the following vote:

Notice is hereby given that a majority of the Common Council of the City of
Manitowoc, or a standing committee of that body, may be present at this meeting to
gather information about the subject matter over which they have decision making
responsibility.
The above governmental body will meet to discuss and possibly take action on the
