Call to Order 2. Roll Call Present: 10 - McMeans, Sitkiewitz, Nickels, Kummer, Czekala, Novak, Lotz, Williams, Brey and Hansen 3. Public Comment Council President Sitkiewitz declared the meeting open for public input. In accordance with policy, the public input portion of the meeting is not made a part of the official record. 4. Discussion and Action Items 20-0094 Update from Community Development on CN Peninsula Associate Planner Nick Mueller provided an update on the design development, timeline, and grant opportunities for this property. 20-0093 Downtown parking lot proposal Attachments: Downtown Parking discussion Proposed Lease with Allies.pdf Mayor Justin Nickels explained which lot the City is looking at and explained potential options for increasing parking in this area of downtown. Owners of the property being discussed, Alex and Peter Allie, as well as other businesses in the area were present to express support for increased parking in this area of downtown. Committee discussed the different options for developing increased parking in this area. Alderman Kummer requested to bring this item back at another Committee of the Whole. Committee discussed different options and will bring item back at a future Committee of the Whole meeting.
