3. Public Comment
Council President Sitkiewitz declared the meeting open for public input. In
accordance with policy, the public input portion of the meeting is not made
a part of the official record.
4. Discussion and Action Items
20-0585 Communication from Alderman Todd Lotz resigning as Alderperson for District
7 effective June 16, 2020
Attachments: Lotz Resignation
Moved by Brey, seconded by McMeans, that this Communication be accepted
and placed on file and referred to council. The motion carried by the following
vote:
Aye: 10 - McMeans, Sitkiewitz, Nickels, Czekala, Novak, Lotz, Brey, Hansen, Schlei and
Brunner
20-0584 Procedure to fill District 7 Aldermanic Vacancy due to resignation of Alderman
Todd Lotz
City Attorney Kathleen McDaniel provided an overview of the options for
filling this vacancy.
Moved by Brey, seconded by Hansen, to fill this vacancy by Council appointment,
for the application process to close July 15, 2020, and referred to Council. The
motion carried by the following vote:
