This request would require the city to change an ordinance. 18-0308 Information on Alternatives for City-Wide Revaluation for Assessment Purposes, recommend to authorize staff to draft a RFP for Options B, C, D and E. Attachments: Revaluation Alternatives Analysis Contract Options - City of Manitowoc Community Development Director Nic Sparacio and representatives of Accurate Appraisers spoke with the committee regarding the alternatives for revaluation. They spoke of several options of how they could approach the revaluation. Maintaining the data was a concern for all. Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Williams, that this Report be accepted to authorize staff to draft a RFP for Options B, C, D and E. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- Brey, Lotz, Sitkiewitz and Williams City of Manitowoc Page 2 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes May 1, 2018 18-0242 Programs to Improve Housing Stock within the City of Manitowoc Attachments: Rental_Rehab_Program_Overview Owner_Occupied_Rehab_Program_Overview Sold_on_Oshkosh_Overview Curb_Appeal_Program_Overview_FINAL No discussion on this item. 18-0246 Request to increase 2018 Budgeted amount by up to $11,000 for replacement of Washington Park Electronic Sign (2018 budget $20,000, current estimate $31,000) funding to come from Room Tax Reserves, recommending referral to CAWG for discussion and to request a second proposal for consideration. Attachments: Washington Park New Sign-Purchase The Capital Allocation Work Group took no action on this item. They need a second cost proposal. The Finance Committee referred this item back to CAWG. 18-0302 Request for Storm Sewer at 1703 Lilac Drive due to Water Issue Attachments: 18-0302_201803291214 The Capital Allocation Work Group discussed this item and came to the conclusion that the DPW crews would do the work. No action taken on the item. Referred back to Pubic Infrastruction Committee for discussion. 18-0342 Request from Capitol Civic Centre for $100,000.00 from the Room Tax Reserve Fund for renovations to the Capitol Civic Centre.
