Call to Order 2. Roll Call Present: 5- Brey, Sitkiewitz, Brunner, Cummings and Reckelberg 3. Public Comment Finance Committee Chair Jim Brey declared the meeting open for public input. No interested parties appeared. 4. Discussion and Action Items 21-1055 Discussion and Review of Proposed Housing Inspection / Service Fees Lead Inspector Bill Nichols and Fire Chief Todd Blaser gave the Committee a presentation proposing the implementation of inspection fees. Committee then had the opportunity to ask questions. Moved by Reckelberg, seconded by Cummings, to support the implementation of inspection fees and to let the Public Safety Committee know that Finance supports this, and to also suggest to use the $75/150 model with Life Safety to attach actual cost when paperwork is drawn up. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Brey, Sitkiewitz, Brunner, Cummings and Reckelberg City of Manitowoc Page 1 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes October 26, 2021 21-1054 2022 Executive Budget Review -General Budget Review -2022 Capital Projects -2022 Borrowing Mayor Justin Nickels informed the Committee that supporting documentation for new positions, wage increases, borrowing, parks, etc. are attached and available in Granicus. Committee took the opportunity to request clarification and additional information on some proposed items to be brought forth for discussion at next Finance Committee meeting. Finance Chair Brey informed the Committee that the next Finance Committee meeting will be Wednesday, November 10th at 5 p.m. in Council Chambers. 5.
