The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Wellner, Sauer, Zigmunt, Hennessey and Bare 5. New Business 18-0693 Discussion on future Assistant Chief vacancy. Police Chief Nick Reimer communicated with the Police and Fire Commission regarding the upcoming retirement of Assistant Chief Scott Luchterhand. Chief Reimer requested the approval of the Police and Fire Commission to transfer Deputy Chief Rob Barbier to the Assistant Chief position upon that retirement. The Police and Fire Commission approved this request, but would like their approval for future position transfer requests. Moved by Zigmunt, seconded by Hennessey, that this Request be approved and placed on file. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Wellner, Sauer, Zigmunt, Hennessey and Bare 18-0695 Manitowoc Fire Rescue and Life Safety and Neighborhood Services Table of Organization Attachments: Fire Department Org Chart This Communication was placed on file.
