Call to Order 2. Roll Call Present: 4- Wellner, Vander Bloomen, Sauer and Schema Excused: 1- Zigmunt 3. Public Comment No Public Comment 4. Consent Agenda These items will be approved by one motion unless any Committee Member wishes to remove an item for discussion. REMOVAL OF CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS: None. Discussion and Action Items 23-0743 Police Department Lieutenant Eligibility List. A motion was made to approved the Lieutenant eligibility list for six months. Moved by Sauer, seconded by Schema, that this Action Item be approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- Wellner, Vander Bloomen, Sauer and Schema Excused: 1- Zigmunt 23-0744 Fire Rescue Department Firefighter/Paramedic Eligibility List. A motion was made to approve the Firefighter/Paramedic eligibility list for six months. Hiring requirements need to be met within six months of hire. Moved by Sauer, seconded by Schema, that this Action Item be approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- Wellner, Vander Bloomen, Sauer and Schema Excused: 1- Zigmunt 6. Convene in Closed Session A motion was made by Ed Vander Bloomen, seconded by Matthew Sauer, to convene in closed session at 4:42 p.m. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- Wellner, Vander Bloomen, Sauer and Schema Excused: 1- Zigmunt Notice is hereby given that the above governmental body may adjourn into a closed session during the meeting as authorized by Section 19.85(1)(f) of the Wisconsin Statutes, which authorizes the governmental body to convene in closed session for the purpose of considering financial, medical, social or personal histories or disciplinary data of specific persons, preliminary consideration of specific personnel problems or the investigation of charges against specific persons except where par. (b) applies which, if discussed in public, would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect upon the reputation of any person referred to in such histories or data, or involved in such problems or investigations. The specific subject matter that may be considered in closed session is: 23-0745 Police Department Employee Performance 23-0746 Fire Rescue Department Employee Performance (Closed session potion of the Minutes has been redacted.) Reconvene in Open Session A motion was made by Ed Vander Bloomen, seconded by Allan Schema, to reconvene in open session at 5:11 p.m. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- Wellner, Vander Bloomen, Sauer and Schema Excused: 1- Zigmunt 23-0745 Police Department Employee Performance Moved by Sauer, seconded by Vander Bloomen, that this Communication be placed on file. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- Wellner, Vander Bloomen, Sauer and Schema Excused: 1- Zigmunt 23-0746 Fire Rescue Department Employee Performance Moved by Schema, seconded by Sauer, that this Communication be placed on file. This meeting is being conducted both in the lower level meeting/training room at the Public Safety Building and via Zoom to maximize opportunities for residents to attend. Those attending the meeting via Zoom who wish to give public input are asked to keep their microphone muted until public input is opened to improve audio quality for all attendees.
