Approval of Minutes 16-0055 January 5th, Meeting Minutes Moved by Howe, seconded by Soeldner, that these Minutes be approved. The motion carried. Ayes, 4. Nays, none 4. Public Comment No Public Comment 5. Reports 16-0161 December 2015 Fire & Rescue Report Moved by Soeldner, seconded by Sitkiewitz, that this Report be accepted. The motion carried. Ayes, 4. Nays, none 16-0162 January, 2016 Fire & Rescue Report Moved by Soeldner, seconded by Sitkiewitz, that this Report be accepted. The motion carried. Ayes, 4. The motion carried. Ayes, 4. Nays, none 6. Discussion and Action Items 16-0056 Citizen request for waiver of ambulance fees. Call# 182-14-3008 dated 10/19/2014. No documentation has been attached due to personal information included. Please refer to your hard copy. This item was discussed and it was decided that Fire Chief Todd Blaser would request more information from lifequest and bring this to the committee for the next meeting. 16-0078 Request for a slow traffic sign to be installed in the area of Holiday House, 2818 Meadow Lane. The Chief of Police Nick Reimer had already had a pedestrian crosswalk sign put up at this locaton. Citizens felt that this was helpful. A speed trailor would also be setup on the South side of the road between the railroad tracks and the Kwik Trip driveway. Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Howe, that this Request be discussed. The motion carried. Ayes, 4. Nays, none 16-0160 Request from Fire Chief Todd Blaser to hire Firefighters as vacancies occur. Moved by Sladky, seconded by Sitkiewitz, that this Request be approved and referred to council. The motion carried. Ayes, 4. Nays, none 15-1274 Communication from Alderman Scott McMeans regarding the crosswalk at Waldo Blvd and North 9th Street. Moved by Sladky, seconded by Soeldner, that no busses would be allowed to pickup or drop off on North 9th Street from Waldo Boulevard to School Street.
