18-0032 Discussion regarding Municipal Ordinance 11.030 Adult Entertainment
Taverns.

Police Chief Nick Reimer will continue to work on improving the
Entertainment registration process.
Moved by Czekala, seconded by Lotz, that this Communication be placed on file.

17-1218 An Ordinance to amend Section 4.070 of the Manitowoc Municipal Code
regulating Navigation Rules, Section 10.130 regulating Snowmobile
Regulation, Section 14.070 regulating Contributing to Truancy, and Section
14.560 regulating Public Nuisance Properties.

Revisions
An Ordinance to Amend Sections of the Manitowoc Municipal Code
Staff Attorney Liz Majerus explained the attached memo outlining the
proposed Ordinance revisions.
This Ordinance was approved and referred to council
18-0033 School Resource Officer Agreement for the City of Manitowoc and the
Manitowoc Public School District.

Police Chief Nick Reimer explained to the committee there was never an
agreement between the City of Manitowoc and the Manitowoc Public
School District for our School Resource Officers. Chief Reimer worked
with Superintendent Mark Holzman to put together an agreement.
Moved by Novak, seconded by Czekala, that this Agreement be approved and
referred to council. The motion carried by the following vote:

6. Old Business
17-1219 An Ordinance to create 16.200 of the Manitowoc Municipal Code
regulating Residential Rental Contact Registration and Inspection
Program.

Program
Alderperson brought this to the Home Builders Association to be reviewed
at the next meeting. This item will remain on the agenda for further
discussion.

17-1221 Update and discussion on plan for blighted properties.
Comprehensive plan will be presented on January 15, 2018 at Common
Council meeting.
This Communication was placed on file
17-0911 Status of 10 properties the Mayor identified as subject to acquisition and
demolition.

A motion was made by Alderperson Jeremiah Novak, seconded by Alderperson
Todd Lotz, that this meeting be adjourned at 6:47 p.m. The motion carried by the
