Maple Grove Arbor subcommittee regular meeting minutes November 6, 2024 CED Conference Room 10:00 a.m. Call to order The regular meeting of the Arbor subcommittee was called to order by member Sarah Piket at 10:03 a.m. Members present Don Varney, Sarah Piket Members absent Marilyn Arnlund Also present Shane DeGroy Approval of agenda and Motion Varney, second Piket to approve the agenda for minutes November 6, 2024. Vote all ayes. Motion passed. Approval of minutes Motion Varney, second Piket to approve the minutes for October 2, 2024. Vote all ayes. Motion passed. Old Business Continue research and Members did additional research into Woodbury tree discussion into alternative requirements based on questions raised by the full Arbor methods for calculating the Committee at the October 10, 2024 meeting. Members required number of trees reviewed information on tree requirements from seven other metro area cities that was provided by an Arbor Committee member. New Business Review city code to identify An Arbor Committee member not on the subcommittee has where residential tree volunteered to do research for the subcommittee. requirements are specified Subcommittee members discussed the effort involved in locating all the sections of Maple Grove code that talk about tree requirements in residential areas. Members sent a request to the Arbor Committee volunteer to provide this information to the subcommittee for review.
