Maple Grove City Council special meeting Minutes November 15, 2024 Call to order Pursuant to call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Maple Grove City Council was held at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, November 15, 2024 at the Maple Grove Government Center/Public Safety Facility, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Present were Mayor Mark Steffenson, Councilmembers Judy Hanson, Kristy Barnett, Kristy Janigo, and Rachelle Johnson. Absent was none. Present also was City Administrator Heidi Nelson, City Clerk Amy Dietl, Deputy City Clerk Brennan Sorensen, and Administrative Assistant Katrina Jones. Mayor Steffenson called the meeting to order at 8:35 a.m. Canvass the The purpose of the meeting was to canvass the results of the municipal results of the election held November 5, 2024. City Clerk Amy Dietl provided the election municipal results for the City of Maple Grove. election held Motion by Councilmember Barnett, seconded by Councilmember Johnson November 5, to adopt Resolution No. 24-153 to canvass the returns of the municipal 2024 general election. Upon call of the motion by Mayor Steffenson, there were five ayes and no nays. Motion carried. Adjournment Motion by Councilmember Barnett, seconded by Councilmember Hanson, to adjourn to the regular City Council meeting on November 18, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. Upon call of the motion by Mayor Steffenson, there were five ayes and no nays.
