MOTION CARRIED BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: Yes: 6- Member Barber, Member Boehner, Vice-Chair Eastman, Chair O'Donnell, Member Ryan and Member Scarpa Not Present: 1- Member Stephenson (5) ID 21-2019 Beach and Coastal Resources Advisory Committee November 24 meeting minutes MOTION by Vice-Chair Eastman, seconded by Member Scarpa, that the November 24 meeting minutes be Approved. MOTION CARRIED BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: Yes: 6- Member Barber, Member Boehner, Vice-Chair Eastman, Chair O'Donnell, Member Ryan and Member Scarpa Not Present: 1- Member Stephenson (6) STAFF COMMUNICATIONS Daniel Smith presented the new Environmental Planner Patricia Kammerer to the committee members. Daniel Smith mentioned that there will be an election of new officers on the next meeting agenda. (7) PUBLIC COMMENT (TIME CERTAIN 9:30 A.M.) JW Marriott went over a list of questions they had for the Committee members regarding the Sea Turtle Ordinance. (8) PRESENTATIONS ID 22-2050 Two presentations from Audubon Western Everglades and Longboat Key Audubon Western Everglades presented the quarterly season update on the Winter Shorebirds, Gopher Tortoises, and Burrowing Owls. Longboat Key presented their Marine Turtle protection Ordinance. (9) OLD BUSINESS +- ID 21-2020 Sea Turtle Ordinance Committee members and City Staff discussed and made some changes to the Sea Turtle Ordinance. MOTION by Vice-Chair Eastman, seconded by Member Scarpa, that this Old Business be Approved. MOTION CARRIED BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: Yes: 6- Member Barber, Member Boehner, Vice-Chair Eastman, Chair O'Donnell, Member Ryan and Member Scarpa Not Present: 1- Member Stephenson (10) NEW BUSINESS ID 21-2021 Approval of the 2022 BchCRAC Meeting Schedule Commit members agreed on the 2022 BchCRAC Meeting Schedule Member Scarpa mentioned that some signs on the beach are in unreadable conditions.
