MOTION CARRIED BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: Yes: 5- Member Barber, Chair Boehner, Vice-Chair Eastman, Member O'Donnell and Member Scarpa Not Present: 2- Member Ryan and Member Stephenson (6) ELECTION OF CHAIR AND VICE-Chair Vice Chair Eastman nominated Chair O'Donnell to continue serving as Chair. Chair O'Donnell nominated member Boehner as Chair. Member Boehner accepted serving as Chair for the Beach and Coastal Resources Advisory Committee. Chair Boehner nominated Vice Chair Eastman to continue serving as Vice Chair. Vice Chair Eastman accepted continuing serving as Vice Chair. (7) PUBLIC COMMENT (TIME CERTAIN 9:30 A.M.) None. Chair Boehner questioned regarding the Sea Turtle Ordinance. (9) PRESENTATION ID 22-2367 Audubon Western Everglades presentation Brittany Piersma Field Biologist at Audubon Western Everglades presented some updates and information on the borrowing Owls, Shorebirds Stewardship, and Gopert Tortoises programs. ID 22-2368 AWE quarterly season stats (10) OLD BUSINESS (a) Beach and Coastal Resources Advisory Committee 2022 Budget Committee discussed the 2022 Budget. Committee members added a meeting for the month of August to continue discussing the 2022 Budget. (11) NEW BUSINESS Committee members added a rodenticide discussion to next meeting agenda. (12) COMMITTEE COMMUNICATIONS None.
