. City of Margaret July 9, 2019 6:00 P.M. In attendance: Councilman Perry, Councilman Carter, Councilman Ray, Mayor Pro-Tem McIntyre, and Mayor Howard Absent: Councilman Chapman Prayer: Councilman Perry Mayor Howard called Meeting to order Discussion Mayor Howard asked for approval of minutes for June 18, 2019. Councilman Ray made the Motion to approve minutes for June 18, 2019. Councilman Perry seconded the Motion. Motion passed with Councilman Carter abstaining. Phone quotes for the New City Hall was up for discussion. Councilman Perry made the Motion to accept phone quotes as written. The Motion was seconded by Councilman Ray. Motion passed unanimously. David Parrish gave his reports for the Fire Department and Public Works Department. Mayor Pro-Tem McIntyre arrived to the Council Meeting at 6:10 PM. Mayor Pro-Tem McIntyre made the Motion to accept bid from MKS for camera in the amount of $7059.37 for cameras for the New City Hall. The Motion was seconded by Councilman Perry. Motion passed unanimously. Mr. Barker gave his report to the Council. Total revenue YTD for the Inspections Department is $8411.10. Mr. Barker also informed the Council that to grade the parking lot grade is quoted as $7400.00 for 40 loads and without the sidewalks. Mayor Howard would like for Mr. Barker to get two more bids. Mr. Barker will also get with Charles Pendley about helping to pave the parking lot for New City Hall.  Council discussed about putting in a 3-way stop sign in Brookhaven around Americana. Mayor Pro-Tem McIntyre made the Motion to pay $5280.00 for basketball goals for Dillard and Wilson Park. The Motion was seconded by Councilman Carter. Motion passed unanimously. Pedro Pino updated the Council on the Health Fair. Councilman Ray made a suggestion that the City look into setting up a City of Margaret website. Councilman Perry read the Subdivision Rules and Regulations. Mayor Pro-Tem made Motion to adjourn.
