VILLAGE OF MARQUETTE GREEN LAKE COUNTY, WISCONSIN Caucus Minutes, January 9, 2023 –Marquette Village Hall The Caucus was called to order at 7:02 p.m. by President Cybul. The Village Board and 3 citizens were in attendance. The number of eligible voters present totaled 9. Certification of Compliance with the Open Meetings Law was noted. President Art Cybul opened the Caucus. President Cybul appointed Ruby Winther as Chairperson to conduct the caucus proceedings. The caucus minutes were recorded by Clerk, Christina Garry. Winther asked for volunteers to be ballot clerks if the ballot process was necessary. Paula Gilbertson and Laura Michalos volunteered. Rudy Winther announced that drawing a card from a deck of cards (NO Aces or Jokers) with the highest card winning would be the method used to break a tie if necessary. Winther called for nominations for the office of Village Trustee. Deb Flagel nominated Peter Michalos and Art Cybul second the nomination. After three calls for any other nominations, Ruby Winther declared ‘nominations are closed’. Required paper work was handed out to nominees. Election will be held April 4, 2023. Motion to adjourn at 7:05 p.m. by Tony Deiss and Second by Peter Michalos. Motion passed. (Unanimous).
