VILLAGE OF MARQUETTE
GREEN LAKE COUNTY, WISCONSIN
Caucus Minutes, January 8, 2024- Marquette Village Hall
The Caucus was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by President Cybul.
The Village Board and 5 citizens were in attendance. The number of eligible voters
present totaled 10. Certification of Compliance with the Open Meetings Law was
noted. President Art Cybul opened the caucus proceedings. President Cybul
appointed Rudy Winthers as Chairperson to conduct the caucus proceedings. The
caucus minutes were recorded by Clerk, Susan Geraldi.
Rudy Winther announced that drawing a card from a deck of cards (No Aces or
Jokers) with the highest card winning would be the method used to break a tie if
necessary.
Rudy Winther called for nominations for the office of Village President. Deb Flagel
nominated Art Cybul and Laura Michalos second the nomination. After three calls
for any other nominations, Rudy Winther declared the “nominations are closed.”
Rudy Winther called for nominations for the office of Village Trustee. Deb Flagel
nominated Tony Deiss and Jeannie Winther second the nomination. After three
calls for any other nominations, Rudy Winther declared the “nominations are
closed.”
Required paperwork was handed out to nominees to complete.
Election will be held April 2, 2024.
Motion to adjourn at 7:05 p.m. by Michalos/Deiss. Motion passed. (Unanimous)

County, Wisconsin, on January 8, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. to nominate candidates for the following village
offices to be voted for at the Spring Election to be held Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
Village President-incumbent, Arthur Cybul
Village Trustee- incumbent, Anthony Deiss
