GREEN LAKE COUNTY, WISCONSIN Special Meeting, Park Proposal Minutes, April 19, 2023 - Village Hall The special meeting of the Village Board, for the Village of Marquette, was called to order by President Cybul at 6:05 p.m. Roll Call: President - Art Cybul - present Trustee - Peter Michalos - present Trustee - Tony Deiss - present Clerk - Christina Garry - present Treasurer - Paula Gilbertson - absent There were 4 citizens in attendance. Certification of Compliance with the Open Meetings Law: Agenda notice was posted in three public places - Village Hall door, kiosks at the Post Office and Truck Garage, also posted on the Village Website and emailed to Berlin Journal Newspapers. A motion to approve the agenda was made. Michalos/Deiss. Motion passed. (Unanimous). Review Proposed Park Plan, Art presented a PowerPoint on the village park plan, going through fund raising efforts, location of the park and cost. Open questions from the residents, maintaining the park yearly, like treating the wood, garbage cans needed. Safety measures to keep children safe. Approval for ordering equipment for Playground, Deiss/Tony. Motion passed (Unanimous) Motion to adjourn at 7:01 p.m. Michalos/Deiss. Motion passed. (Unanimous).
