GREEN LAKE COUNTY, WISCONSIN Special Meeting Minutes, August 20, 2024 - Village Hall The special meeting of the Village Board, for the Village of Marquette, was called to order by President Cybul at 6:00 pm Roll Call: President - Art Cybul- present. Trustee - Peter Michalos- present Trustee - Tony Deiss- present Clerk - Sue Geraldi - present. Treasurer - Paula Gilbertson- absent 1 citizen present Certification of Compliance with the Open Meetings Law: Agenda notice was posted in three public places - Village Hall door, kiosks at the Post Office and Truck Garage, also posted on the Village Website. A motion to approve the agenda was made. Michalos/Deiss. Motion passed. (Unanimous) Discuss/Approve: Approve Final Resolution and Quit Claim Deed to vacate property of Nancy Wallman. I make a motion to adopt Resolution 2024-1 that the following part of Center Street and an abandoned alley located in Block 22 is vacated and discontinued and no longer a street and alley and that this resolution shall be recorded in the Register of Deeds Office, Green Lake County, Wisconsin. Deiss/Michalos, Motion passed. (Unanimous) Approve Short Term Loan from NEB for $38,000. I make a motion to approve a loan from National Exchange Bank for $38 thousand dollars with a single payment of principal and interest due on December 1st, 2024. The interest rate will be 5.45% and include an $500 review fee. Signers for the loan documents will be the Village President, Clerk and Treasurer. Michalos/Deiss, Motion passed.
