MINUTES
May 28, 2024 at 6:15 PM

1. Call to Order/Roll Call- The Finance and Purchasing Committee met in a regular session on
Tuesday, May 28, 2024. Rick Noe called the meeting to order at 6:15 pm. Members present were
Courtney Ferguson, Barb Hoilien, and Rick Noe. Also present were Mayor Darryl Teske, City
Administrator Daron Haugh, and Deputy Clerk Nicole Lyddy.
2. Minutes- Motion made by Hoilien, Seconded by Ferguson to approve minutes of May 1, 2024.
3. Vouchers- Motion made by Ferguson, Seconded by Noe to recommend to the council to approve
vouchers of $270,520.82. Motion carried.
4. Public Works air conditioner replacement- Motion made by Hoilien, Seconded by Ferguson to
recommend to the council to approve the bid of $4,778 from BTU to install the Public Works
Airconditioner. Motion carried.
5. Affordable Housing Fund Program grant application- Motion made by Noe, Seconded by
Hoilien to recommend to the council to approve the Affordable Housing Fund Program grant
application with a grant amount of $5,000. Motion carried.
6. Park Mower- Motion made by Ferguson, Seconded by Noe to recommend to the council to have
the parks department get quotes for a new park mower. Motion carried.
7. Fire Department Tanker- Motion made by Ferguson, Seconded by Hoilien to recommend to the
council to approve the purchase of a Tanker for the Fire Department from Midwest Fire of
$382,542. Motion carried.
8. Adjourn- Motion made by Hoilien, Seconded by Noe to adjourn. Motion carried at 6:27 pm.
