PLAN COMMISSION MINUTES
May 21, 2025 at 6:00 PM

1. Call to Order/Roll Call: The Mauston Plan Commission met in the Council Chambers of Mauston
City Hall and was called to order by Darryl Teske at 6:20 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2025.
Members present were Mark Messer, Lenord Kluge, Phil Harrison, Brandy Ellsworth, Paul
Coggins, and Mayor Darryl Teske. Also present was Zoning Administrator Val Nelson.
2. Minutes: Motion by Messer, seconded by Coggins, to approve the minutes of February 19, 2025.
Motion carried.
3. Ordinance 2025-2077 - Amending the Mauston - Lemonweir Extraterritorial Zoning Map:
Motion by Kluge, seconded by Coggins, to recommend council approval of the amendment to the
Mauston-Lemonweir Extraterritorial Zoning Map. Motion carried.
4. AAB Properties, LLC - Conditional Use (Resolution 2025-P-08): Motion by Ellsworth, seconded
by Harrison, to recommend council approval of the conditional use request by AAB Properties, LLC
for a 4-unit apartment building. Motion passed.
5. Slama Equipment - Conditional Use (Resolution 2025-P-10): Motion by Kluge, seconded by
Harrison, to recommend council approval of the conditional use request by Slama Equipment
regarding group development. Motion passed.
6. Kriete Volvo - Conditional Use (Resolution 2025-P-09): Motion by Coggins, seconded by Kluge,
to recommend council approval of the conditional use request by Kriete Volvo regarding an
interstate sign. Motion passed.
7. Adjourn: Motion by Kluge, seconded by Messer, to adjourn. Motion carried at 7:30 p.m.
