2. Minutes: Motion by McGuire, seconded by Purvis, to approve the minutes of November 20, 2025. Motion
carried by voice vote.
3. Financial Report: Motion by Hammer, seconded by Gruman, to approve the financial reports as
presented. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote.
4. Fire Chief's Report: The calls for service in December 2025 were reviewed. There were four (4) calls in
the City and five (5) calls in the rural area, for a total of nine (9) calls in December 2025. For 2025, there
were 142 total calls. The Fire Department also conducted one (1) training drill. The Commission requested
Chief Lenorud report total calls and firefighter man-hours for both 2024 and 2025 at the next meeting. In a
personnel update, Chief Lenorud reported that one firefighter will be removed from the roster after
securing a full-time position with another department. He also reported that three new firefighters have
been hired and will attend entry-level firefighter training in New Lisbon, bringing the total number of
firefighters to 34. After noting that some firefighters had limited hours logged in recent months, the
Commission asked Chief Lenorud to review participation benchmarks outlined in the Standard Operating
Guidelines (SOGs) to ensure minimum requirements are met. Chief Lenorud also reported that the new
command truck is nearly ready for service. Motion by Gruman, seconded by Shuman, to approve the Fire
Chief’s written report. Motion carried by voice vote.

Commission expressed its congratulations and appreciation. Motion by Gruman, seconded by Shuman, to
approve the Police Chief’s report. Motion carried by voice vote.
