PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE MINUTES
June 11, 2024 at 6:10 PM
303 Mansion Street Mauston, WI
1. Call to Order/Roll Call- The Public Works Committee met in a regular session on Tuesday, June
11, 2024. Rick Noe called the meeting to order at 6:10 pm. Members present were Donna
McGinley, Jim Allaby, and Rick Noe. Also present were Mayor Darryl Teske, City Administrator
Daron Haugh, Director of Public Works Rob Nelson, and Deputy Clerk Nicole Lyddy.
2. Minutes- Motion made by McGinley, Seconded by Allaby to approve minutes of May 14, 2024.
Motion carried.
3. Brunner Manufacturing and Zinc Plating Pretreatment Effluent Water Disposal- Motion made
by McGinley, Seconded by Allaby to recommend to council to approve Brunner Manufacturing and
Zinc Plating Pretreatment Effluent Water Disposal. Motion carried.
4. A-1 Excavating Change Order #7 - Motion made by Allaby, Seconded by Noe to recommend to
the council to approve A-1 Excavating Change Order # 7 for a decrease of $392,770.62. Motion
carried.
5. A-1 Excavating Final pay app #7 for the 2023 Street project- . Motion made by McGinley,
Seconded by Noe to recommend to the Council to approve Final A-1 Excavating pay app #7 for
$10,000. Motion carried.
6. Olympic Builders pay app #3 revision for the Waste Water Treatment upgrade- Motion made
by Allaby, Seconded by McGinley to recommend to the council to pay Olympic Builders pay app #3
for $2,375 for the Waste Water Treatment upgrade. Motion carried.
7. Public Works Director Report- Nelson stated that the pavement markings are nearly done. The
Weed harvester is going strong which can be noticed by going past the 12/16 Boat Landing.
8. Adjourn- Motion made by Allaby, Seconded by Noe to adjourn. Motion carried. Meeting
adjourned at 6:18 pm.
