CITY OF McKINNEY, TEXAS Minutes - Final Thursday, September 13, 2018 5:00 PM Parks Administration Conference Room 1611 N. Stonebridge Drive McKinney, Texas 75070 Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Advisory Board Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Minutes - Final September 13, 2018 Advisory Board PURSUANT TO TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 551.002, A QUORUM OF THE CITY COUNCIL MAY BE PRESENT. NO CITY COUNCIL ACTION WILL BE TAKEN. CALL TO ORDER CONSENT ITEMS This portion of the agenda consists of non-controversial or housekeeping items required by law. Items may be considered individually by the Board or Commission member making such request prior to a motion and vote on the Consent Items. Minutes of the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Advisory Board Meeting of August 09, 2018 A motion was made by Butler, seconded by Nance,that this Minutes be Approved and Referred to the City Council Regular Meeting, due back on 12/18/2018. The motion carried by the following vote. REGULAR AGENDA Consider/Discuss/Act on Making a Recommendation to the City Council for Naming a Park within the Craig Ranch Town Center, Located at the Southeast Corner of Collin McKinney Parkway and Aerobic Way A motion was made by Pelley, seconded by Delozier,that this Agenda Item be Approved and Referred . The motion carried by the following vote. Consider/Discuss/Act on Making a Recommendation to the City Council for Naming a Park within the Craig Ranch Town Center, Located South of Collin McKinney Parkway and between Meyer Way and Rundell Way A motion was made by Szecsy, seconded by Butler,that this Agenda Item be Approved and Referred . The motion carried by the following vote. CITIZEN COMMENTS BOARD, MCDC LIAISON, AND DIRECTOR COMMENTS Board, MCDC Liaison, and Director Comments relating to items of public interest; Announcements regarding local or regional civic and charitable events, staff recognition, commendation of citizens, traffic issues, upcoming meetings, informational update on City projects, awards, acknowledgements of meeting attendees, birthdays, requests of the Director for items to be placed on upcoming agendas, and condolences.
