City of Menomonie Police and Fire Commission Meeting Minutes July 26, 2022 Call to order: The meeting was called to order at 10:25 a.m. by commission president Ron Sandfort. Roll Call: Commissioners Spielman, Sandfort and Sweeny were present. Also present was Chief Denny Klass. Approval of June 26, 2022 Meeting: Motion by Spielman, seconded by Sweeny to approve June 28, 2022 meeting minutes. Motion carried New Business: Interview of Firefighter/EMT Candidate Motion to go into closed session: Moved by Spielman, seconded by Sweeny to go into closed session Motion carried Closed Session: Motion to return to open session by Spielman, seconded by Sweeny. Motion carried Motion to direct Conditional Employment to Dylan Gorres by Sweeny, seconded by Spielman. Motion carried. Motion to adjourn by Spielman, seconded by Sweeny. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 11:15 a.m. Next meeting of the Police and Fire Commission will by August 11, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. for interviews of entry level candidates for Firefighter/EMT at Northside Station #2.
