City of Menomonie Police and Fire Commission Meeting Minutes September 29, 2022 Call to Order The meeting was called to Order at 9:06 a.m. by commission president Ron Sandfort. Roll Call Commissioners Ley, Sandfort and Sweeny were present. Commissioner Miller arrived shortly after start of meeting. Also present was Chief Eric Atkinson. Approval of Minutes Motion by Sweeny, seconded by Ley to approve September 14 minutes. Motion carried Old Business Will be scheduling meeting for Lieutenant promotion mid October. New Business Interviewing nine applicants for police officer position. Closed Session Motion to go into closed session by Ley, seconded by Sweeny. Motion carried. Motion to go out of closed session by Ley, and seconded by Miller. Motion carried Motion to direct Chief Atkinson to do a background check on Mason Dallman, Isaac Norman, Dane Weiland, Christian Cortez and Savannah Anderson by Ley, seconded by Miller.
