Village Board Meeting Minutes February 13, 2025 1223
The Village Board met at the Merrillan Village Hall on February 13, 2025, at 6:30p.m. in person and
via Google meet. In person were President Chris Wruck, Heather Sprinkle, Jordan Powell, Jane
Fehrman, Sally Madsen, Clerk Penny Danielson, PW Mike Garbers, Attorney Mark Radcliff, Bill
Laurant. Dan Knoeck appeared via google meet.
1. President Wruck called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
1. President Wruck certified open meeting law requirements were met.

2. Roll Call-Fehrman, Sprinkle, Powell, Madsen, Wruck all present
3. Public Comment-None
4. Attorney Radcliff-
a. MSA Project updates -Dan gave project updates.
b. Abandoned/Dilapidated Buildings-Moved by Sprinkle, seconded by Fehrman to accept the
R
combing of lots located and 304 and 306 submitted by Scott Murphy. Carried
c. Water and Sewer Disconnects-tabled
d. Public Nuisance Ordinance-tabled
5. Fire District -No Updates
6. Police Report- Report was submitted, Noone present from the Sheriff’s Dept.

7. Maintenance Report- Monthly report was submitted. Per Mike the Trow Lake dam inspection is due this
year.
8. Vouchers- were reviewed and signed
9. Delinquent List was reviewed
10.Approval of All Minutes- Moved by Powell seconded by Madsen to approve. Carried
11.Approval of Financial Report Moved by Madsen seconded by Powell to approve. Carried
12.Approval of Operator License- None
13.Cemetery Report- Moved by Wruck seconded by Fehrman to approve. Carried

New Business- Discussion and/or action
17.Fire Accounts at SFB- Moved by Sprinkle seconded by Madsen to approve Chris and Penny to close the
2% fire dues account at SFB and transfer the balance to combined checking and write a check to the
Fire District for the amount in that account and close the Fire Dept Equipment trust account and transfer
that to the Fire District account at SFB. Carried
18.Village President-Updates were submitted
19.Moved by Powell, seconded by Madsen to adjourn at 7:19 p.m. Carried
