MIDDLETOWN TOWN COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES The Middletown Town Council held a meeting on July 2nd 2024. Drew Cooper was absent The council approved the minutes from the June 18th meeting 1. It was announced that Drew Cooper has resigned from the Council effective June 30th. 2. Dan Fountain motioned and Ryan Smith seconded approving Ordinance 2024-3 on its’ third reading. The ordinance is for the cat management program. Motion carried 3-1. Dave Wagner voted no. 3. The IMPA service agreement was tabled until the next meeting. 4. Butler Fairman Seufert invoices were presented to be paid from SRF funds. 104704 for 26,282.61. 99981 for 2480.00. 102223 for 15,798.00. 99972 for 38790.00. 5. A contract with pavement solutions and a letter to INDOT requesting CCMG funds were presented. Dan Fountain motioned and Teresa Dennis seconded approving. Motion carried 4-0. 6. Ordinance 2024-4, which creates a sidewalk repair program, was introduced. Dan Fountain motioned and Ryan Smith seconded approving on its’ first reading. Motion carried 4-0. 7. Dan Fountain motioned and Ryan Smith seconded hiring Shelbi Zapfe as a full time dispatcher at 15.25/hr. Motion carried 4-0. 8. Dan Fountain motioned and Ryan Smith seconded waiving the rummage permit fee during the Fall Funfest. Motion carried 4-0.
