MIDDLETOWN TOWN COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES The Middletown Town Council held a meeting on August 12th 2024. The meeting opened with discussion about the 2025 General Fund budget. The main focus was to decide whether to keep our own dispatch or turn it over to the county in 2025. 1. Dan Fountain motioned to dissolve our town dispatch effective Jan 1st 2025. Teresa Dennis seconded. A roll call vote was taken Dan Fountain yes Ryan Smith yes Dave Wagner yes Jake Smith yes Teresa Dennis yes 2. Dan Fountain motioned and Jake Smith seconded giving our current dispatchers a 2500 stipend if they stay employed until January 1st 2025. Motion carried 5-0.
