MIDDLETOWN TOWN COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES The Middletown Town Council held a meeting on September 3rd 2024. The council approved minutes from the August 20th meeting. The council approved claims 39964 – 40052 totaling 433,207.48 1. There was discussion about the sidewalk program. 2. There was discussion about allowing chickens. 3. There was discussion about ordinances creating new funds for emergency vehicles and what the allowed uses of these funds would be. 4. Dan Fountain motioned and Jake Smith seconded hiring Amy Wilson as a Grade 9 utility worker to help with the labs in the plant. Motion carried 5-0. 5. Dan Fountain motioned and Jake Smith seconded allowing Carl Spears to attend an IMEA conference in Bloomington on October 8,9 and 10. Motion carried 5-0.
