Village of Millbrook 20 Front Street- Millbrook Firehouse Board of Trustees (BOT)- Budget Overview and Salaries March 23, 2022 1. Roll Call: Mayor Collopy, Deputy Mayor Contino, trustee Herzog, Trustee Arbogast, Trustee Doro, Fire Department (FD) Chief Bownas, FD President Rochfort, PWS Collocola, TOW- Councilman Murphy, Senior Account Clerk McLaughlin, and Clerk Witt 2. Open meeting – 6:00 PM with Pledge of Allegiance. Resolution for Girls Basketball Champs (attached). 3. Fire Department (FD) Roof- The Village & Town are contributing $85K over 6 years towards replacement of the firehouse roof, while the Fire Company 501c3 is paying the remainder. The Village will award the bid in the April meeting with clarification on the warranty from the contractor. Mayor Collopy said there was a possibility of getting a grant for the roof through a County Grant. Trustee Herzog, Trustee Arbogast, Fire Chief Bownas, and FD President Rochfort will meet and discuss applying for it. 4. Budget Review: Mayor Collopy did an overall review of the budget. FD confirmed they agree with the numbers presented in the budget. 5. Public Comment: There was none. 6. Executive Session: Mayor Collopy paused the meeting at 6:32 PM to clear the room for executive session (to discuss salaries). Motion made by Mayor Collopy to enter into executive session at 6:36 PM, seconded by Trustee Herzog and all were in favor. Motion made by Mayor to increase salaries in the 2022-2023 budget by 3% for all employees, seconded by Trustee Arbogast and all were in favor.Motion made by Mayor to continue same medical insurance plan as current, seconded by Trustee Doro and all were in favor. Motion made by Mayor Collopy to exit executive session and adjourn the meeting at 7:07 PM, seconded by Deputy Mayor Contino and all were in favor. 7.
