Village of Millbrook 20 Front Street- Millbrook Firehouse Board of Trustees (BOT)- Budget- Fire Department & Front Office March 15,2023 1. Roll Call: Mayor Collopy, Deputy Mayor Contino, Trustee Herzog, Trustee Doro, Trustee Murphy, Fire Department (FD) Chief Bownas, FD President Rochfort, Asst. Chief Boscardin, TOW- Supervisor Ciferri, Councilman Audia, Councilman Rochfort, Senior Account Clerk McLaughlin, OIC Witt, Deputy Clerk Zeko and Clerk Witt 2. Open meeting – 6:00 PM with Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Fire Department (FD)- The Village and Town Boards reviewed the FD requested budget. They agreed to raise the FD Truck reserve from $60,000 to $75,000 and to replace the Assistant Chief’s truck. There is a plan to split the cost of the window replacements in the firehouse between the 22/23 and 23/24 budget. The 23/24 Budget will be payment number 3 of 4 for the roof replacement. Rescue Squad had no change. FD Chief Bownas to submit the assets management list. 4. Budget on Front Office and A Fund Expenses: Senior Account Clerk, Deputy Clerk Zeko, Clerk Witt, and the Board reviewed the attached budgets for the Front office and A Fund. Mayor Collopy suggested hiring a Deputy Building Inspector, especially with the future addition of the Short-Term Rental code to help with enforcement- the Board agreed- and will put a $1000 in the budget. There will also be the addition of $4000 for the Tennis Courts and an increase in the tree budget. The Front Office is due for a new server (~$7000) and is requesting “HeyGov” a widget to add to the website ($2000 annual payment). 5. Public Comment: There was none. 6. Next Scheduled Budget Meeting: April 4, 2022, at 6 PM- Overall budget review, and executive session on salaries. 7.
