Shade Tree Commission

Village of Millbrook, NY Shade Tree Commission May 13, 2025 4pm Village Hall Present: Bucklin, Collopy, Shuminov and Mike Herzog (Climate Smart Community Committee). Minutes: Bucklin motions to approve the minutes from 03/15/25 & 04/09/25, seconded by Collopy and passed unanimously without corrections. The commission received an update on CSC status from Mike Herzog and discussed ways to work together. The commission discussed and reviewed tree(s) for removal. Recommended a final review from a certified arborist and contact with the homeowner(s) before removal. Confirmed receipt of Tree City USA status. Action: The Commission agreed to solicit bids for tree(s) purchase for review at a meeting in June.
