CITY OF MINERAL POINT 137 HIGH STREET, SUITE 1 MINERAL POINT, WI 53565 608-987-2361 MINUTES CITY OF MINERAL POINT PERSONNEL COMMITTEE MEETING Friday, July 11, 2025, 9:30 AM City Hall Community Room CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL The meeting was called to order by Chair Burrows at 9:32 a.m. Keith Burrows, Chair Present Chuck Allendorf Present Chris Goodney Present Others Present: City Administrator Matthew Honer, Clerk-Treasurer Christy Skelding, Library Director Diane Palzkill, Dirrick Wahl, Bill Ottoway, Eric Dunham, Jared Weier, Police Chief Bob Weier, Sean Kibler, Alan Schrank, Water/Sewer Superitendent Nate Fosbinder, Gabe Ottoway APPROVAL OF JUNE 3, 2025 MINUTES Motion (Burrows/Goodney) to approve the minutes from the June 3, 2025 meeting. Motion carried, all voting aye (3-0). DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE CONSIDERATION OF 2026 EMPLOYEE HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN. All employees were provided with the program options. Chair Burrows opened the floor to employees to ask any questions or make any comments regarding the Health Insurance Plans. Allendorf stated that everyone is aware that the city is up against budgetary issues. He would like for city administration to send out an email questionnaire to employees to gather more information regarding interests. One of the questions would be to gauge any interest in an opt-out incentive. The committee discussed the different plan options with the employees present at the meeting. Eric Dunham stated that he would like to stay on the current plan. He doesn’t believe there will be support to change the plan. If the city stays on the current plan, the obstacle becomes finding an additional $32,000 in the budget. ADJOURN.
