To the Honorable Mayor and All Aldermen: Following are the minutes of the Liquor/Gambling Control Committee meeting called to order at 5:03 p.m. on October 31, 2012: 1. That the City Council approve the request by North Hill Suites, LLC for a Hotel/Motel alcoholic beverage sales license, dba North Hill Suites (2301 Landmark Drive NW), effective February 1, 2013. ********** The above motion by Alderman Withus, seconded by Alderman Seymour, and carried unanimously. 2. That the City Council approve the request by Astoria Minot, LLC for a Hotel/Motel alcoholic beverage sales license, dba Astoria Hotel and Suites (3500 South Broadway), effective November 6, 2012. ********** The above motion by Alderman Withus, seconded by Alderman Seymour, and carried unanimously. 3. That the City Council approve the request by Minot Hotel Partners, LLC for a Retail Beer and Wine alcoholic beverage sales license, dba Hampton Inn and Suites (1400 North Broadway), effective November 6, 2012. ********** The above motion by Alderman Withus, seconded by Alderman Seymour, and carried unanimously. 4. That the City Council approve the request to transfer a Retail Beer and Wine alcoholic beverage sales license from Noble Inn, LLC, dba Noble Inn (1009 20th Avenue SE) to Magni, LLC, dba Noble Inn at the same location, effective November 6, 2012. ********** The above motion by Alderman Withus, seconded by Alderman Seymour, and carried unanimously. 5. That the City Council ratify the following administratively approved requests: a. March of Dimes for a local permit to conduct raffle on November 14, 2012 at the Grand International (1505 N Broadway). c. UND Northern Plains Children’s Advocacy Center for a local permit to conduct raffle on December 15, 2012 at the Parker Suites Center (21 1st Ave SW Suite 41). d. Beginning Experience of Western North Dakota for a local permit to conduct raffle on October 6, 2012 at the Grand International Inn (1505 N Broadway). e. First Lutheran Church for a local permit to conduct raffle on November 3, 2012 at First Lutheran Church (120 5th Ave NW). f. Minot Prairie Quilters for a local permit to conduct raffle on March 15, 2013 and December 5, 2013 at Grand International & Vincent Methodist Church (1505 N Broadway & 1024 2nd St SE). g. Minot USBC Bowling Association for a local permit to conduct raffle on October 20, 2012 at Grand International (1505 N Broadway). h. Nodak Race Club for a local permit to conduct raffle on November 20, 2012 at Sleep Inn & Suites (2400 10th St SW). i. Sports on Tap for a special event permit on October 5, 2012 at Sports on Tap basement (220 S Broadway). j. Sports on Tap for a special event permit on October 13, 2012 at Sports on Tap basement (220 S Broadway). k. Blue Rider for a special event permit on October 6, 2012 at 62 Doors Gallery & Studio (11b South Main St). l. Lamplighter Lounge for a special event permit on October 5, 2012 to October 7, 2012 at Lamplighter south parking lot (200 16th St SW). m. Grand International for a special event permit on October 11, 2012 at Ackerman-Estvold (1907 17th St SE). n. Michael’s Italian Restaurant for a special event permit on October 24, 2012 at Hampton Inn & Suites (1400 N Broadway). o.
