To the Honorable Mayor and All Aldermen: Following are the minutes of the Liquor/Gambling Control Committee meeting called to order at 4:28 p.m. on August 28, 2013: 1. That the City Council approve the request by Michele F, LLC for a Specialty Restaurant Wine license, dba Michele F (22 South Main Street, Suite 22), effective September 4, 2013, subject to receipt of all documentation and approval by the Police Chief and Building Official. ********** The above motion by Alderman Withus, seconded by Alderman Connole, and carried unanimously. 2. That the City Council ratify the following administratively approved requests: a. Sweet & Flour Patisserie for a special event permit on August 9, 2013 at Sweet & Flour Patisserie parking lot (400 E Central Ave). b. Sports on Tap for a special event permit on August 3, 2013 in the area between Sports on Tap and Planet Pizza (220 S Broadway). c. Staybridge Suites for a special event permit on August 6, 2013 at Hess Corporation (3015 16th Street SW). d. Souris River Brewing for a special event permit on August 8, 2013 at the Souris River Brewing parking lot (32 3rd St SE). e. 10 North Main for a special event permit on August 17, 2013 at Main Street (Central Avenue to 2nd Avenue SE). f. The Pour Farm for a special event permit on August 3, 2013 at Maysa Arena (2501 Burdick Expy W). g. Blue Rider for a special event permit on February 15, 2013 at 62 Doors Gallery & Studio (11B South Main). h. Ranger Lounge for a special event permit on August 31, 2013 at Ranger Lounge parking lot (1218 South Broadway). i. American Legion-Post 26 for a local permit to conduct raffle on October 18, 2013; December 22, 2013; April 18, 2014 at American Legion (1949 North Broadway). m. Magic City Youth Baseball for a local permit to conduct raffle on October 19, 2013 at Vegas Motel (2315 North Broadway). n. Darin Egge Fundraiser Benefit for a local permit to conduct raffle on August 21, 2013 at Sleep Inn & Suites (2400 10th Street SW) ********** The above motion by Alderman Withus, seconded by Alderman Connole, and carried unanimously.
