The City Council approve the request from M&S Concessions, Inc. dba as MSI (500 University Ave. West) for the Minot State University Liquor License, effective August 4, 2015, subject to receipt of all documentation and approval by the Police Chief and Building Official. ********** The above motion by Alderman Hatlelid, seconded by Alderman Berg and carried unanimously. 2. Council approve the gaming site authorizations for the license year of July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016, subject to receipt of proper documentation. ********** The above motion by Alderman Hatlelid, seconded by Alderman Berg and carried unanimously. 3. Pursuant to the Code of Ordinances, we are requesting Committee and Council ratification of the following administratively approved requests: a. 10 North Main for a Special Event Permit on July 30, 2015 from 4:00pm to 12:00am at Roosevelt Zoo. b. Souris River Brewing for a Special Event Permit for an outdoor music event on July 11, 2015 from 9:00am to 1:00am. c. Trinity Health Auxiliary to conduct a raffle on September 14, 2015at Souris Valley Golf Course (2050 14th Ave SW). d. Tamyra Kemmit on behalf of Steven Gulbronson to conduct a 50/50 raffle on September 12, 2015 at the Vegas Motel (2315 N Broadway). e. Qdoba for a Special Event Permit on July 15, 2015 at Minot Air Museum (100 34th Ave NE). f. The Pour Farm for a Special Event Permit on August 1, 2015 for a wedding reception at the Parker Center (21 1st Ave SE) g. Souris River Brewing for a Special Event Permit on August 6, 2015 for Why Not Fest. ********** The above motion by Alderman Hatlelid, seconded by Alderman Berg and carried unanimously. LIQUOR AND GAMBLING CONTROL COMMITTEE July 29, 2015 Page 2 4. The City Council pass an Ordinance on first reading enacting changes to Section 5-28 in Chapter 5 of the City of Minot Code of Ordinances, relating to inspection of premises for the sale of alcoholic beverages. ********** The above motion by Alderman Hatlelid, seconded by Alderman Berg and carried unanimously. 5. The City Council approve the alcoholic beverage sales licenses for the July 1, 2015 through the June 30, 2016 license year, subject to receipt of proper documentation and renewal fees and approval of the Police Chief and Building Official. ********** The above motion by Alderman Hatlelid, seconded by Alderman Berg and carried unanimously. Alderman Hatlelid asked the City Clerk if she had received the information from supper clubs with regard to compliance.
