Central Vermont Public Safety Authority Barre City Alumni Hall June 2, 2015 Special Meeting – Draft Minutes Directors present: Tom Golonka and Dona Bate, representing the City of Montpelier; Michael Smith and Martin Prevost, representing Barre City; Alexandra Pastor and Doug Hoyt(arrived 5:37pm), at-large directors. Director(s) absent: Kim Cheney, at-large director. Others attending: Bob Sager, Board Treasurer; One of the potential candidates for the executive director position. Tom called the meeting to order at 5:32pm. A motion to accept the the agenda as presented was made by Dona, seconded by Martin. Motion passed. A motion finding that premature public knowledge of the content of the executive director interview would put the Board at a substantial disadvantage in the hiring process was made by Dona, seconded by Alexandra. Motion passed. A motion to go into executive session under the provisions of 1 VSA section 313 to interview one of the executive director candidates was made by Michael, seconded by Dona. Motion passed. The Board went into executive session at 5:33 pm. The Board invited both Treasurer Bob Sager and, the Interviewee into executive session. A motion to come out of executive session was made by Martin, seconded by Alexandra. The Board came out of executive session at 6:52pm. A motion to adjourn was made by Michael, seconded by Dona. Motion passed. The meeting adjourned at 6:52pm. The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Central Vermont Public Safety Authority will be held June 4th 6:30pm at the Central Vermont Chamber of Commerce Building.
