Central Vermont Public Safety Authority Barre City Public Safety Building December 5, 2016 Meeting Minutes – Draft Directors present: Dona Bate and Tom Golonka; representing the City of Montpelier, Martin Prevost and Michael Smith (4:50), representing Barre City; Kim Cheney, Doug Hoyt and, Alexandra Pastor, at- large Directors. Directors absent: None Others attending: Paco Aumand, CVPSA Executive Director; David Delcore, Times Argus reporter; John Hannigan; Dave Rubalcaba. The meeting was called to order by Tom at 4pm. The Agenda was approved without objection. The Board had an extensive discussion regarding the Operations Plan especially around new language that would ensure that fire and police supervisors will be able to direct dispatching operations in the event of an emergency and no dispatch supervisor is available. The Board discussed the plan and related issues, as those issues related to the CVPSA presentation to the meeting of the joint City Councils (Montpelier and Barre) in Montpelier on Wednesday, December 7th. Tom left at 5:18pm. Alexandra assumed chair of the meeting. Without objection the meeting was adjourned at 5:42pm by Alexandra.
