Final Reading: An Ordinance providing for the annexation of an approximately 0.50 acre tract of land located at 2125 Gulf Drive and depicted on a plat recorded by the Charleston County ROD Office in Plat Book L, Page 073. (Ord. No. 21061) B. Final Reading: An Ordinance to rezone from NC, Neighborhood Commercial District, to PI-2, Public Institutional-2 District, an approximately 0.13 acre tract of land located at 210 Lucas Street. Parcel is proposed to remain in the BOD, Boulevard Overlay District. (Ord. No. 21062) C. Final Reading: An Ordinance to amend the Oakland Plantation PD, Planned Development District Ordinance (Ordinance 04014, as amended), to expand the principal uses permitted in the ED, Economic Development District, within the PD Ordinance. Proposed is to allow Medical Office and General Office uses as a permitted use in addition to all other ED uses. (Ord. No. 21063) VIII. PLANNING A. NEW BUSINESS 1. First Reading: An Ordinance providing for the annexation of an approximately 1.93 acre tract of land located at 1605 Highway 41 and depicted as Lot 2 on a plat recorded by the Charleston County ROD Office in Plat Book L19, Page 0296. (Ord. No. 21065) 2. First Reading: An Ordinance providing for the annexation of an approximately 0.73 acre tract of land located at 2215 David Green Road and depicted as Lot 5-4 on a plat recorded by the Charleston County ROD Office in Plat Book L21, Page 0037. (Ord. No. 21066) 3. First Reading: An Ordinance to amend Chapter 156, Zoning Code, of the Mount Pleasant Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section establishing Shem Creek Waterfront District. Amendments pertain to establishing boundaries, permitted uses and the development standards for this District. Affected code sections include 156.007, 156.326, 156.310, 156.318, 156.314, 156.328. (Ord. No. 21067) Page 2 of 5 4. First Reading: An Ordinance to amend the I’On PD, Planned Development District Ordinance (Ordinance 97010, as amended), by revising Neighborhood Standards. Specifically requested is to amend Item One in the PD referencing Outbuildings to exclude roof overhangs and eaves from counting toward maximum building footprint calculations of 625 square feet. (Ord. No. 21068) 5. First Reading: An Ordinance to amend Section 156.075, Building Permit Allocation System, of Chapter 156, Zoning Code, of the Mount Pleasant Code of Ordinances. Amendment pertains to the provision of regulating the allocation timeline to accurately reflect the intended six-month allocation period. (Ord. No. 21069) 6. First Reading: An Ordinance to amend Section 156.107, Modification of Yard Regulations, of Chapter 156, Zoning Code, of the Mount Pleasant Code of Ordinances. Amendment would allow administrative relief from the ordinance provision establishing the front yard setback on lots where structures were legally constructed prior to ordinance adopted August 13, 1979. (Ord. No. 21070) 7. First Reading: An Ordinance to amend Sections 156.007, 156.171, 156.304, 156.318, 156.325 of the Town of Mount Pleasant Zoning Code related to Hotels, Inns, Boutique Hotels and parking requirements for the same. (Ord. No. 21071) a. Executive Session Legal advice related to item VIII.A.7. b. Post Executive Session Council may take action on any item, including any subsection of any section, listed on an executive session agenda or discussed in an executive session during a properly noticed meeting. Final Reading: An Ordinance providing for the annexation of an approximately 9.05 acre tract of land comprised of two parcels, located between Joe Rouse Road and Julius Robertson Road and at the terminus of Hopkins Road in Covington at Park West, and depicted on a plat recorded by the Charleston County ROD Office in Plat Book M47, Page 283. (Ord. No. 21047) Planning Committee recommended denial 2-2 2. Final Reading: An Ordinance providing for the annexation of an approximately 9.90 acre tract of land located between Joe Rouse Road and Julius Robertson Road, and depicted on a plat recorded by the Charleston County ROD Office in Plat Book M47, Page 283. (Ord. No. 21054) 3. Final Reading: An Ordinance to rezone from OP, Office Professional District, to AB, Areawide Business District, an approximately 1.0 acre tract of land located on the corner of Highway 17 North and McKnight Road. Parcel is proposed to remain in the SB-OD, Sweetgrass Basket Overlay District. (Ord. No. 21060) IX. COMMITTEE ACTION ITEMS There are no Committee Action Items. X. COUNCIL BUSINESS A. New Business Action to establish a Millage Rate and Sales Tax Credit Factor B. Old Business 1. Final Reading: An Ordinance to repeal and replace Chapter 110 entitled General Licenses of the Mount Pleasant Code of Ordinances. (Ord. No. 21064) Page 4 of 5 2. Final Reading: An Ordinance to amend Chapter 94 titled Parades, Demonstrations, Public Assemblies, and Picketing of the Mount Pleasant Code of Ordinances. (Ord. No. 21056) C.
