Tuesday October 8, 2024

MINUTES
1. Call to Order
Mayor Haynie called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. Daniel Brownstein,
Howard Chapman, Laura Hyatt, Guang Ming Whitley, John Iacofano,
Gary Santos and Carl Ritchie were all present. Jake Rambo was absent.
2. Public Comment
[None]
3. Executive Session
Mayor Haynie moved to defer appointments to the Recreation
Advisory Commission and the Accommodations Tax Advisory
Committee to the next Council meeting stating that voter registration
deadlines have been extended due to the hurricanes. Mr. Chapman
seconded the motion.
Mr. Pagliarini asked if that included continuing to advertise the positions
and Mayor Haynie responded in the affirmative.
Mr. Iacofano voted no with all others present voting in favor. The
motion carried with a 7-1 vote.
Mayor Haynie stated there is no reason to go into executive session.

Council may take action on any item, including any subsection of

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 5:04 p.m.
