MOUNT PLEASANT TOWN COUNCIL Special Council Meeting Tuesday, June 10, 2025, 5:00 PM Council Chambers Mount Pleasant Municipal Complex 100 Ann Edwards Lane, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464 MINUTES *Agenda amended to remove an unconfirmed team and add a state champion team for recognition. Call to Order Mayor Haynie called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. Daniel Brownstein, Howard Chapman, Laura Hyatt, Jake Rambo, John Iacofano, Gary Santos and Mike Tinkey were all present. Guang Ming Whitley was absent. 2. Public Comment [None] 3. Executive Session A. Legal & Contractual Items Discussion and possible action on pending litigation captioned James N. Deierlein, Jr., et al. vs. the Commission of Public Works for the Town of Mount Pleasant, et al. (2023-CP-10-01688) Mr. Chapman moved to go into Executive Session for the reason stated by Mayor Haynie, seconded by Mr. Santos. All present voted in favor. The meeting was adjourned into executive session at 5:02 p.m. 4. Post Executive Session (Reconvene at 5:30 p.m.) Council may take action on any item, including any subsection of any section, listed on an executive session agenda or discussed in executive session during a properly noticed meeting. Mayor Haynie reconvened the meeting at 5:36 p.m. stating no votes or action had been taken.  Mr. Rambo moved to proceed as discussed in executive session, seconded by Ms. Hyatt.
