TOWN OF MOUNT PLEASANT, SOUTH CAROLINA HISTORIC DISTRICT PRESERVATION COMMISSION MARCH 13, 2023 MINUTES Staff Report Present: Robert Crosland, Chair, Gene Gallogly, John Hackenberg, Corey Barber. Absent: Anne Shaw Staff: Kara Browder, James Ward, Lynnette Lynes Mr. Crosland called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm. I. Approval of Agenda Mr. Crosland moved for approval of the agenda. Mr. Gallogly seconded the motion. All in favor. II. Approval of Minutes February 13, 2023 Meeting Mr. Gallogly moved for approval of the minutes. Mr. Barber seconded the motion. All in favor. III. Correspondence All correspondence was linked to the agenda and distributed to the Commission. IV. General Public Comment V. Consent Motions There being no public comments or consent motions, Mr. Crosland continued with the agenda.  Historic District Preservation Commission March 13, 2023 Page 2 of 3 VI. Business- a. 111 Live Oak Drive - Survey 6244/ Historic (TMS# 5171500058) Applicant is seeking Final Approval windows and siding replacement. Ms. Browder reviewed staff comments with the Commission. Mr. Joe Tucker, architect, reviewed the request with the Commission. There being no comments, Mr. Crosland closed public comment. Mr. Barber moved for approval with the understanding that the dimensions of the new window will closely match the existing windows. Mr. Crosland seconded the motion. All in favor. b. 245 Bennent Street - Survey 6133/ Historic (TMS# 5320100016) Applicant is seeking Preliminary Comments for a pool pavilion and pool relocation. Ms. Browder reviewed staff comments with the Commission. Mr. Brian Smith reviewed the request with the Commission. There being no comments, Mr. Crosland closed public comment. The Commission provided comments. VII. Staff Level Approvals a. 108 Carr Street – Survey 6269/ Non-Historic (TMS # 5320500057) Pool and landscaping b. 926 Pitt Street – No Survey/Non-Historic (TMS # 5321300051) Landscaping and hardscaping c. 223 Center Street – Survey 6056/Non-Historic (TMS # 5321300022) Fencing d. 826 Pitt Street – Survey 5964/Non-Historic (TMS # 5320900064) Exterior painting VIII.
