Absent: David Creech (excused), Corey Barber Staff: Bryan Hankinson, James Ward, Lynnette Lynes Mr. Player called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm. I. Approval of Agenda Mr. Bakker moved for approval of the agenda. Ms. Gravitt seconded the motion. All in favor. II. Approval of Minutes Mr. Bakker moved for approval of the minutes. Ms. Gravitt seconded the motion. All in favor. III. General Public Comment IV. Correspondence There being no comments or correspondence, Mr. Player continued with the agenda. V. Consent Motions Ms. Gravitt moved for consent approval of the following items: ➢ 111 Hyer Street – Survey 6077/Non-Historic – (TMS5320900059) Applicant is seeking Final Review for the changing of the foundation material from brick to stucco. ➢ 116 Bennett Street – Survey 6147/Historic – (TMS 5171500089) Applicant is seeking Final Review for the installation of a new pool and spa. ➢ 419 Whilden Street – Survey 6174/Historic – (TMS5320100103) Applicant is seeking Final Review for the renovation of the existing historic 3-story porch. This item was approved by consent. B. 315 Bennett Street – Survey 6130/Non-Historic – (TMS5320100024) Applicant is seeking Preliminary Comment for the addition of an upper piazza. Mr. Hankinson reviewed staff comments with the Commission. Mr. Rob Crawford, representative for the owner, reviewed the request with the Commission. There being no comments, Mr. Player closed public comment. The Commission offered comments. C. 116 Bennett Street – Survey 6147/Historic – (TMS 5171500089) Applicant is seeking Final Review for the installation of a new pool and spa. This item was approved by consent. D. 448 Church Street – Survey 6190/Historic – (TMS5320100091) Applicant is seeking Final Review for the installation of a one-story addition to an existing historic structure, a pool, and fencing. Mr. Hankinson reviewed staff comments with the Commission. Mr. Joel Adrien, architect, reviewed the request with the Commission. Mr. Bakker moved for approval of submittal of additional renderings. Mr. Hankinson reviewed staff comments with the Commission. Mr. Joel Adrien, architect, reviewed the request with the Commission. There being no public comment, Mr. Player closed public comment. The Commission offered comments. F. 419 Whilden Street – Survey 6174/Historic – (TMS5320100103) Applicant is seeking Final Review for the renovation of the existing historic 3-story porch. This item was approved by consent. G. 211 Haddrell Street – Survey 6262/Non-Historic – (TMS5171500048) Applicant is seeking Preliminary Comment on the demolition of an existing primary structure, construction of a new home and pool. Mr. Hankinson reviewed staff comments with the Commission. Mr. Tim Winter reviewed the request with the Commission. There being no comment, Mr. Player closed public comment. D. 413 Pitt Street – Survey 5916/Non-Historic - (TMS5320500014) Application approved for the installation of new roofing. E. 211 Bennett Street – Survey 6141/Non-Historic - (TMS5320100260) Application approved for the installation of new siding. F. 135 Toomer Lane – No Survey/Non-Historic - (TMS5171500064) Application approved for the installation of a new generator and screening. G. 308 Center Street – Survey 6052/Non-Historic - (TMS5320900097) Application approved for the installation of new roofing. H. 110 Bennett Street – Survey 6164/Historic - (TMS5171500090) application approved for modification of previously approved Bahama shutters on rear porch. VIII.
