CALL TO ORDER Chair Lopez called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL Present 4- Phyllis Bismanovsky, Paul Donahue, Vice Chair Nicole Vogt and Chair Elena Lopez Absent 1- Max Beckman-Harned 3. MINUTES APPROVAL Motion - M/S Bismanovsky/Donahue to approve the Library Board minutes of the October 15, 2018 meeting. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 3- Bismanovsky, Donahue and Vice Chair Vogt Absent: 1- Beckman-Harned Abstain: 1- Chair Lopez 4. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC - None 5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 5.1 Fines and Fees Discussed Library fines and fees. 5.2 Bulletin Board Policy Attachments: Policy draft Discussion took place of policy and suggested edits. NEW BUSINESS 6.1 Report from Trustee Bismanovsky - California Library Association Conference Trustee Bismanovsky gave a report regarding her attendance at the California Library Association Conference and the programs she attended. 7. BOARD/STAFF ANNOUNCEMENTS, UPDATES, REQUESTS, AND COMMITTEE REPORTS Trustee Bismanovsky thanked the Board for her ability to attend the California Library Association Conference; the Board members thanked Trustee Bismanovsky for attending on behalf of the Library Board. Chair Lopez would like to reinstate the posting of Library Board meetings in the Library lobby. Vice Chair Vogt stated she would like to discuss in the future the efficiency of the Library utilizing electronic communication. 7.1 Director's Report Attachments: Report No verbal report given. 8. DONATIONS Motion - M/S Donahue/Bismanovsky to accept the donations. AGENDA SETTING/PLANNING - December meeting: Bulletin Board policy, Fines and Fees, Adult Services program guidelines review, summary of study rooms in Director’s report. -January meeting: Exhibits policy. 10.
