CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE President Rosenberg called the meeting to order at 6:37 p.m. Rental Housing Committee Chair Honey led the Pledge of Allegiance. 2. ROLL CALL Present: 7 - Boardmember Abe-Koga, Boardmember Clark, Boardmember Matichak, Boardmember McAlister, Boardmember Showalter, Vice President Siegel, and President Rosenberg 3. CONSENT CALENDAR MOTION - M/S - Abe-Koga/Showalter - To approve the Consent Calendar. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 7 - Boardmember Abe-Koga, Boardmember Clark, Boardmember Matichak, Boardmember McAlister, Boardmember Showalter, Vice President Siegel, and President Rosenberg 3.1 Shoreline Park Irrigation Replacement, Project 16-31-Approve Plans and Specifications/Authorize Bids. 1. Approve plans and specifications for the Shoreline Park Irrigation Replacement, Project 16-31, and authorize staff to advertise the project for bids. 2. Authorize the City Manager to award the construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder if the low bid is within the project budget. 4. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC ON NONAGENDIZED ITEMS Christie Allen expressed concerns with distracted and dangerous drivers on City of Mountain View streets, and requested that Council encourage more traffic enforcement and better signage in the construction zones. City of Mountain View Page 1 City Council MEETING MINUTES 9/12/2017 Denise Salles requested a refund for the twenty-one years she was double-billed on her single-line sewer bill, and she submitted supporting documentation. Shari Emling spoke in support of Ms. Salles receiving her full refund. An unidentified gentleman expressed concerns with the road diet traffic remedy on Castro Street and requested that the City conduct a post-construction traffic study to see if the results proposed were achieved through this plan. 5.
