PUBLIC HEARING 5.1 Companion Unit Update. Recommendation: A. Provide a Recommendation to City Council on an Ordiance to amend the companion unit regluations (Section 36.12.70). The proposed project is statutorily exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Section 15282(h) - Adoption of revisions to a second-unit ordinance. B. Staff is also seeking input from the EPC on a potential text amendment to the park land dedication in-lieu fee (Section 41.6) of the Mountain View city code.
