CALL TO ORDER 2. ROLL CALL 3. MINUTES APPROVAL Minutes for the May 4, 2017 meeting have been delivered to Commissioners and a copy posted on the City Hall bulletin board. If there are no corrections or additions, a motion is in order to approve these minutes. Minutes Approval. Recommendation: To approve the minutes of May 4, 2017. Attachments: Minutes 5-4-17.pdf 4. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC This portion of the meeting is reserved for persons wishing to address the Commission on any matter not on the agenda. Speakers are limited to three minutes. State law prohibits the Commission from acting on non-agenda items. 5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 5.1 Fiscal Year 2017-18 Work Plan Final Discussion. Recommendation: Staff will provide a summary of the proposed work plan items that received majority Commission support for the next fiscal year. Staff will provide recommendations regarding project scope and Commission/staff capacity. The HRC will discuss and finalize work plan items for the next fiscal year to be submitted for approval to the City Council. Attachments: Staff Memorandum.pdf ATT - FY 2017-18 Projects.pdf 6. NEW BUSINESS 6.1 Election of Commission Vice Chair. Recommendation: The HRC Vice Chair is responsible for supporting the Chair and serving in the Chair role in the event of an absence. The Chair will accept nominations for the role of Vice Chair for the remainder of 2017. COMMISSION/STAFF ANNOUNCEMENTS, UPDATES, REQUESTS, AND COMMITTEE REPORTS No action will be taken on any questions raised by the Commission at this time. 8.
